Summary

Carry On Regardless and the regular gang are joined by guest star Bill Owen, (latterly of ‘Last of the Summer Wine’ fame). This very funny farce is based around Bert Handy, (Sid James), and his company Helping Hands. Bert and his staff take on all clients with their weird and wacky demands for some very odd jobs, when no profession or public service exists, regardless of how ridiculous or unreasonable the requests.

Although it takes a good 20 minutes for the first laughs to come in, this episode of the classic comedy series is still extremely watchable with some really goofy, chortle filled scenes before rolling into the third act, which alone makes this film well worth watching.

Carry On Regardless reminds you of why, as a nation, we fell in love with this remarkable and talented group of British Actors and a very important South African, (Sid James). This film is filled with slapstick hilarity, that is quite frankly brilliant and represents the best of classic British Comedy.

7/10 – Calum Roberts.
